GENERAL MANAGER

We're looking for an experienced but innovative GM who will thrive putting systems in place that will keep the business running like the well-oiled machine it is; curating and managing a crack-team of staff to deliver consistently amazing customer experiences; taking an active interest in growing the brand and the business by hitting targets like a boss; and working with our marketing team on new and unique offerings.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two years of General Management in the hospitality sector.
  • Hold a current New Zealand General Managers Certificate.
  • Possess a proven understanding of costs, gross profits, wage percentages, budgets in all shapes and sizes, and stocktake .
  • Highly proficient with PAYE, GST, accounting, stocktake and POS systems.
  • Familiar with the Auckland hospitality and/or live music market with a finger on the pulse of what's happening in this space.

MARCOMMS COORDINATOR

We're looking for a marcomms ninja to work with our management team to deliver marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. You'll be managing our publicity, forging relationships with media and key influencers; wrangling multimedia content; and creating great collateral, among other things. 

This is a great opportunity for a creative self-starter to make your mark within a tight knit, supportive, and passionate team.

(This is a part time role with potential to grow into a full time position.)

  • Plugged into the local entertainment and hospitality scenes.
  • Creative, with an exceptional eye for design and detail.
  • A digital native.
  • A natural multi-tasker who can manage multiple workflows.
  • Great at relationship-building, with excellent communication skills.
  • In love with the written word and a master of both user- and SEO-friendly style.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in online marketing, communications, or publicity.
  • Familiar with the Auckland hospitality market with a finger on the pulse of what’s happening in this space.
  • Highly proficient with Squarespace and platforms like Slack, Trello, Google Drive, etc.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Suite of creative products or similar.
  • Experience with digital marketing would be advantageous, including Facebook advertising and Google adwords.
  • Some experience with video is preferable.
