The "Friends and Whanau" party with legendary UK DJ Norman Jay!

After what is shaping up to be an epic day down at the first Silo Session of 2015, the UK legend Norman Jay will be joined by a few legends of our own down at Neck Of The Woods... Nathan Haines will be DJing armed with his horn and vocalist Kevin Mark Trail to welcome guests out of the sun, followed by the boogie man, Frank Booker and George FM's party smasher Bevan Keys.

Doors will be open from 6pm.

Founder of Good Times Sound System at Notting Hill Carnival, Member of the British Empire, influence for decades of international DJs and credited with shining a light on UK club culture on the world stage, Norman Jay MBE is at the centre of DJing worldwide, having nearly three decades of experience behind him.

Referred to as both the "people's DJ" for his incredible musical range and the "DJ's DJ" for his undeniable influence, this icon is making the journey from the UK all the way to Auckland for Anniversary Weekend - to grace Neck Of The Woods and our lovely Funktion One soundsystem.
