To help us celebrate our last Friday night for 2017, we've got your boogie staples - Frank Booker, Lucky Lance and Hudge (The Uptown Boogie). But we're excited to announce a new addition to the line up - long time listener, first time caller, Boog backstage regular Haz Beats on the boogie decks for the first time! (Well, first *official* time at least).
The BOOG is a happy, hedonistic throwback to the 70s and 80s and the music hiphop was birthed out of - disco, funk and soul but most of all, boogie. Every month we bring together some of the best DJs and selectors from all over the music scene to set the dance floor on fire with their favourite boogie tunes.
The BOOG is all about good vibes on the dance floor and a room full of swaying bodies with enough space for everyone, so go ahead and leave any bad buzz at the door.
