Sitting at over 20 Million online streams, landing high rotation with more than eight singles at triple j and placing in triple j’s Hottest 100 four consecutive years in a row, SAFIA released their highly anticipated debut album Internal, on the 9th September 2016 via Parlophone.
Internal was written and self-produced by the band in Canberra and London, before being mixed by Eric J Dubowsky, who has mixed the most recent albums for Flume, Flight Facilities, and Chet Faker.
SAFIA have supported Lorde and Disclosure, and played coveted slots at Groovin the Moo, Field Day, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, The Great Escape (UK), Primavera Festival (SPAIN), and SXSW.
Off the back of their fifth consecutive sold-out Australian headline tour, which showcased their impressive new live show, the album release will be supported in New Zealand to fans at Electric Avenue Festival in Christchurch on Saturday 25 February, plus an exclusive, one-off Auckland show at Neck Of The Woods on Thursday 23 February.
